What can my child expect from Wicked Workshop?
We provide a positive, inclusive, and creative environment where young people can develop confidence, teamwork, performance skills, and creativity through drama, musical theatre, and performance activities.
Our sessions are designed to be safe, engaging, age-appropriate, and enjoyable for all participants.
What should my child bring?
Students should bring:

A packed lunch for full-day workshops and holiday activities

A refillable water bottle

Any required medication (where previously agreed with staff)

Comfortable clothing suitable for movement and drama activities
Please ensure all belongings are clearly labelled with your child's name.
Is food available on site?
Yes. We have a tuck shop available during breaks where students can purchase drinks and snacks.
Please note that the tuck shop is intended for snacks only and does not replace the need for students to bring a packed lunch.
Can my child leave the venue during the day?
For safeguarding reasons, students under the age of 16 are not permitted to leave the premises during workshops, rehearsals, or activities unless accompanied by a parent, guardian, or authorised adult.
Students must remain within designated areas at all times unless directed otherwise by a member of staff.
What behaviour is expected from students?
We ask all students to:

Arrive on time and ready to take part

Use appropriate language and behaviour

Respect the venue, equipment, costumes, props, and other people's belongings

What behaviour is not acceptable?
The following behaviour will not be tolerated:

Disruptive behaviour that affects others

Physical aggression or unsafe conduct

Damage to property

Discriminatory behaviour or inappropriate language
Where behaviour falls below expected standards, parents or guardians may be contacted. In serious cases, Wicked Workshop reserves the right to remove a participant from activities without refund.
What should my child wear?
Students should attend in:

Comfortable clothing suitable for movement and drama activities

Appropriate footwear such as trainers or any footwear specified in advance

Any costume or uniform items requested for rehearsals or performances
For safety reasons:

Jewellery should be kept to a minimum

Long hair should be tied back when appropriate

Clothing should allow free movement and not create a safety risk

When registering, parents and guardians must provide accurate and up-to-date information including:

Can my child bring medication?
Yes, where necessary.
Any medication brought to sessions must:

Medication should never be shared with other students.
Where medication needs to be administered by staff, prior written consent must be provided.
What happens if my child becomes unwell?
If a student becomes unwell during a session, we will contact the parent or guardian and may ask for the child to be collected.
In the event of a medical emergency, we may seek medical assistance and contact emergency services where necessary.
How do you keep children safe?

Inform staff if someone different will be collecting their child
Persistent absence or lateness may affect participation in performances.
Can photographs or videos be taken?
Photographs and videos may occasionally be taken during activities for promotional or educational purposes.
We will always seek appropriate parental consent before using images publicly.
We also ask parents and guardians not to share photographs of other children online without permission.
What is your booking and refund policy?

Places are confirmed only once payment has been received.

Fees must be paid by the stated deadline.

Missed sessions are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds
All bookings become non-refundable within 14 days of the workshop, course, or event start date.
Refund requests made before this period may be considered at the discretion of Wicked Workshop.
If we cancel a workshop, event, or course, an alternative session, account credit, or refund will be offered.
Do I need to agree to these terms?
Yes. By registering a child for Wicked Workshop activities and completing the registration process, parents, guardians, and students confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to follow these terms and expectations.
